Description:
Ann Villiers was the daughter of Governor Sir William Haynes Smith (1898-1904). She lived in Government House. A Maltese gardener was brought to Cyprus by High Commissioner Sir Garnet Wolseley to design the gardens of Government House. This patch portrays irises, a typical flower of the East.
