Description:
A member of the London group since 1915, the artist was a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy. His paintings were used by the Cyprus Government Office in London to attract tourists, especially his views of Kyrenia. This is a poster made from the original oil painting on paper which depicts the eastern side of Kyrenia harbour where the artist seemed to have trouble painting the minaret. Soft colours of pink and blue and green blend with large expanses of white and yellow, creating an overall soft and relaxing effect.
