Description:

Under the looming mountain of St Hilarion (Saint Hilarion Castle) lies a narrow valley of olive and carob trees. In spring, the ground is covered by a multi-coloured carpet of wild flowers which once too often has inspired artists to immortalise the view. An overall pink tint gives the picture a sense of euphoria while the lingering of the trees by the wind seems to touch upon the artist’s sensitivities.
