Edmond Torikian (1922-2006), a photographer and car engineer of Armenian descent, is one of the founders of the Cyprus Photographic Society.
Torikian spent his life capturing moments of Cyprus. His archive presents various aspects of the island from the 1950s to the 1970s, after which he left for Canada, where he spent the rest of his life. In Canada, he taught photography at Humber College. However, his deep connection with Cyprus endured, and he made occasional visits to the island.
