The Camille Enlart Photographic Archive
On 15 December 2016, the Centre of Visual Arts & Research announced the acquisition of the personal photographic archive of French archaeologist and art historian Camille Enlart. The archive is the most important one on 19th century Cyprus. The 500+ photographs of the archive, organised in 13 albums, were taken by Enlart during two visits to Cyprus, in 1896 and in 1901.
The exhibition is kindly sponsored by the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education & Culture, the EEA & Norway Grants and OPAP.
