Exhibition Opening

The exhibition will be inaugurated by the First Lady Ms Philippa Karsera Christodoulides.
As part of the activities of the Pancyprian Association of Parents and Friends of the Paediatric Oncology Department for ‘Golden September’, a month dedicated to the awareness of childhood cancer (Go Gold in September for Childhood Cancer), children who are hospitalised in Paediatric Oncology Department, guided by the teachers of Makarion Hospital School, created a ‘cloth of hope’ titled ‘With a golden ribbon’. Each one of them drew their own messages, their own dreams on it. When the artworks were finished, the banner was posted and lighted outside the building of the House of Representatives.
The children's eagerness and desire to create more and more led us to the decision to continue with the project and expose their artworks, as it deserves to paintings of such value, especially when this is first and foremost emotional.
