The historical novel of Pantelis Mitsis "The Lady of Houlou" will be presented on Friday 8 October 2021 at 18:30.
In this bittersweet narrative of the reality of the 14th century, the readers' witness one of the most adventurous, but also glorious periods of Cypriot history, a period full of political intrigue, struggles, scandals, unfulfilled love, hate and passion.
The climax of the story is marked with the Genovese Invasion in Cyprus – the start of the Kingdom’s decline.
The presentation will be in Greek, and will take place at the CVAR in Nicosia. The book will be discussed by historian, archaeologist and author Anna Marangou.
