Limassol Police Commissioner, Lieut-Colonel Donisthorpe Donne, was occupied capturing a number of wanted men who were hiding in the caves around the villages of Limassol district. In one such cave he found many knives and yatagans and arrested a couple of men who were using it as their hideout.

Instead of being a murderer, however, as I expected, I found that the younger man was one Salih Bobi, a notorious ruffian and an escaped convict from Nicosia, who had long defied the Paphos police and been fired at in that district once by the L.C.M.P. It was also clearly established that he was actually the man who had fired at Lieutenant Kitchener. So, thus far our raid was an entire success.
