This page will continuously be enriched with educational material based on the museum's collections. The material can be used in a variety of ways, either as part of the syllabus or as preparation for a visit to the museum. Teachers can in turn share their own educational material under their name, provided they are relevant to museum-related topics.
The Educational Department of the CVAR is proposing activities to celebrate the International Museum Day. The theme this year is 'Museums, sustainability and well-being'.

Two Museum Children's Books are included in the Museum's Educational Kits titled "Travelling Artists in Cyprus: 19th-20th century" and "Wedding Costumes in Cyprus: 19th-20th century" written by the museum's educational team. The main characters of the books are the objects from the collections of the museum that become alive and narrate their stories from their making to their addition to the collections. The books are available in Greek.
Celebrating the International Museum Day 2021, CVAR's educational team created two thematic virtual tours titled 'Life in a Museum' and 'Costume Stories'. A guide was additionally created with educational suggestions in order to use the virtual tours in a classroom. The guide is currently available in Greek.
