First medal: Q.S.A. 1899. Mounted for wearing on colourful ribbon. The medal inscribes “REL OF LADY SMITH – TUGELA HEIGHTS – CAPE COLONY”. It also portrays Queen Victoria and has the words “Victoria, Regina Imperatrix”. Second medal: Commemorative of King Edward, 14-6-1902. Mounted for wearing on colourful ribbon.
