Description:

Towel which was created by Nasos Kovotsos at his factory in Limassol. The towel was designed by Tzoulia Astreou Christoforou based on byzantine motifs. The towel was made especially for the Presidential Palace, at the beginning of the Presidency of Spyros Kyprianos. In addition to the needs of the President, handkerchiefs were also given to all the ministers at the time. The colors of the handkerchief were chosen to match the sanitary ware which was athassi green and had been chosen by Archbishop Makarios. Accompanied by a handwritten letter from Julia Astraios Christoforou on 04-12-2016, code cst_00468b with a full description of the object.
