A tapestry portraying the coat of arms of the Lusignans surmounted by a crown and surrounded by oak branches. The oak, in history of art, symbolises strength and perseverance. Perseverance was the motto of the Lusignans. The coat of arms has the rampant lion of France upper right, lower right the rampant lion of Cyprus, lower left the rampant lion of Armenia, upper left the cross of Jerusalem.
