Description:

This is one of the narrow lanes of Kyrenia leading towards the harbour. Figures of women and children are standing in the alleyway chatting away as was the custom in the past. The colours used are very soft, rendering the picture almost as if it were a watercolour. In the far background, one can distinguish the lighthouse of the harbour. The houses are whitewashed and still retain their narrow staircases to the second floor.
