Description:

A villager and his loaded donkey are heading towards the village of Pera Pedi in the area between Limassol and the foothills of Troodos mountains. The village lies in a valley from which it derived its name (pera pediada, far away plain). The rooftops are flat and there is not much vegetation within the village. On the extreme right, there is a humble church with a pitched roof of the kind found in such villages. The background is formed by the majestic mountains of Troodos.
