Translation on reverse: (Left panel) The loved is what appears to us clearly since everything is made clear (Right panel) The main existence of the human being is to look for knowledge and the one who ignores the moved (?) is the real illiterate (Bottom panel) The human being has to be optimistic if he sacrifices all his eye to the search of knowledge

Description:

Heavily decorated wooden Ottoman panel with two rhomboid and one rectangular internal panels with inscriptions. A hole at the centre on the top indicates that this was hanging on a wall. Handwritten translation of inscriptions on reverse of panel.
