Description:

Rectangular, metal mould with the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Cyprus, with the date 1965 on the bottom. The mould was made at the foundry of Andreas Pitsillos on Pentadachtylou Street in the old town of Nicosia for use on public water fountains. The mould is characterized by a typical mistake where the dates '1960' and '1965' are not negative in order to be imprinted correctly on the surface. However the dove in the center is correctly oriented.
