Description:
The artist seems to be inspired by the terraced hills of the Paphos area around Kathikas village. A mélange of mellow colours emanates a sense of peace and tranquility in what is probably an autumn landscape. The area is famous for its vineyards, represented in the foreground of the picture. A lone Cypress tree that appears on the top left corner of the painting could be reflecting the artist’s own solitude.
