Description:
Milla Cavendish lived in Cyprus with her family for many years in the second half of the 20th century. She had a passion for the wild flowers of Cyprus and recorded them meticulously in a series of watercolours. These were published in an album by the Hellenic bank in 1998. Cavendish’s reproductions of the flora of Cyprus were rendered in a delicate and faithful manner. Most importantly, she included the names of each plant and the location in which it was found.
