Description:

Orig Avedissian belongs to the Armenian family of the Avedissian photographers who lived in Cyprus in the early part of the 20th century. The artist presents a front elevation of the church of St Nicholas of the Greeks. It is interesting to note that in 1937 both steeples were standing to a certain height. Presently, the left steeple is totally destroyed while the one on the right is about to collapse.
