Description:

The tranquility offered at early dawn at the shores of the Kyrenia coast inspired the artist to capture the moment. The scene is in the western part of Kyrenia town, portraying the ancient church of Lambousa by the sea. A fishing boat is out for the day’s catch. The light of early sunrise makes the water look almost white in contrast to the green landscape. Nothing seems to move, offering the viewer a sense of peace and relaxation. The Kyrenia mountain range forms the backdrop of the picture and accentuates the narrow valley between the shore and the mountains.
