Painting of a couple, bent over, harvesting cucumbers by hand from the field. The couple are Georgios and Lougkrou Trizas working in the field behind their pub "Bells" on the main coastal road in Protaras. The painting was done from a photograph taken by the artist and captures a moment in a rapidly changing landscape which is now dominated by holiday apartments and tourist destinations. This particular field has since been paved over and is now a parking lot
