Description:
Gwendolen Frere was the daughter of Judge Bertle Frere who arrived in 1897 and took up judicial duty in the British administration of Cyprus. She was an amateur artist who executed a series of watercolours of Nicosia and Kyrenia. A view of Kyrenia. It becomes obvious that the artist was intrigued by the architecture of the houses.
