After lunch Lady Storrs and I to the Makedonitissa monastery, very untidy and the church in a disgraceful taste. Wrote to the Archbishop about it and offered to re-glaze the picture of the founding of the monastery in 1798. All the pigeons flying into the church and dirtying it and the picture. The narthex of the church is being used as a bean store.
