With the HE down of the unveiling of Khaimal Pasha’s memorial at the Arab Ahmet mosque. HE made a very good speech. Then to inspect the Evkaf offices, now housed in the old Cadi’s house, very nice offices they are too. Then to visit the Sultan’s Library near the Great mosque, charmingly arranged and were shown the hairs from the beard of the prophet.
