“Now for more news. We drove to Nicosia on Sunday with Mr Sides in his Fiat. Charlie got me my Christmas present: a Fiat car. It is a beauty, an Italian car, Charlie drove it home but I rode with Mr Slides. Charlie never drove anything but a Ford before, so did very well coming home over the mountain roads. I expect to run it soon.”
