1 April 1927: The intrepid Mr Gunnis was again on the go, visiting Larnaca district where he visited the Angeloktisti church and the tower of Kiti.
Down to Larnaca after an early lunch. Then to see the village of Kiti, which has a most attractive church, quite the nicest I have seen yet. The mosaic in the apse is good but in a bad state and unless something is done soon, will disintegrate. The iconostasi is pleasant.
Then to see the lighthouse on cape Kiti, and down onto the shore where I picked up some nice stones.
Some people to dinner and bridge. I stayed the night with the Northcote, she is rather a nice Maltese. HE and Lady S. with the Pophams.
