Η θάλασσά μου... φύση, περιβάλλον, έμπνευση, δημιουργικότητα, τέχνη, θαλασσογραφία, μουσεία, φαντασία, παιδιά, καλοκαίρι...οι συνειρμοί που δημιουργούνται γύρω από τη θάλασσα είναι ατελείωτοι και μας ταξιδεύουν...
Τον Φεβρουάριο του 2023 το Τμήμα Εκπαίδευσης στου CVAR προκήρυξε σε συνεργασία με το Υφυπουργείο Τουρισμού τον 3ο διαγωνισμό ζωγραφικής για παιδιά από 5 μέχρι 12 ετών. Στο θέμα του φετινού διαγωνισμού πρωταγωνίστρια ήταν η θάλασσα:
" Η θάλασσά μου...βουτιά στην τέχνη"
Τα παιδιά μέσα από τη δικιά τους ζωγραφιά κλήθηκαν να ζωντανέψουν τη μαγεία της θάλασσας και να αναδείξουν τη διαχρονική της σημασία στην τέχνη, αποτυπώνοντας διάφορες πτυχές της, όπως το πολύτιμο οικοσύστημά της, την ανθρώπινη δραστηριότητα που διαμορφώνεται γύρω από αυτήν και τα συναισθήματα που τους προκαλεί. Μέσα από αυτή τη διαδικασία είχαν την ευκαιρία όχι μόνο να παρατηρήσουν τη θάλασσα και να την αποτυπώσουν εικαστικά, αλλά και να αντιληφθούν τον σημαντικό ρόλο που διαδραματίζει στη ζωή μας και την ανάγκη να τη σεβόμαστε και να την προστατεύουμε.
Στον διαγωνισμό συμμετείχαν παιδιά από διάφορα μέρη της Κύπρου με 600 υπέροχες ζωγραφιές. Διακρίθηκαν στο σύνολο 34 έργα ενώ περίπου 300 έργα παρουσιάστηκαν σε έκθεση ζωγραφικής στην Πλατεία Ελευθερίας στην Λευκωσία τις 7 και 8 Ιουνίου 2023.

My beloved sea... nature, environment, inspiration, creativity, art, seascape, museums, imagination, children, summer... The associations created around the sea are endless and take us on a journey.
In February 2023, the Education Department at CVAR announced, in collaboration with the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, the 3rd painting competition for children aged 5 to 12. The protagonist of this year's competition was the sea:
"My beloved sea...a dive into art"
Through their own artwork, children were invited to bring to life the magic of the sea and highlight its timeless significance in art, capturing various aspects such as its precious ecosystem, the human activity shaped around it, and the emotions it evokes. Through this process, they had the opportunity not only to observe the sea and depict it visually but also to understand its important role in our lives and the need to respect and protect it.
The competition saw the participation of children from various parts of Cyprus, with 600 beautiful paintings. A total of 34 artworks were distinguished, while approximately 300 artworks were exhibited at a drawing exhibition held at Eleftheria Square in Nicosia on the 7th and 8th of June 2023.
