Description:

The British had established clubs in all the main towns where the members of the British community gathered to enjoy reading British newspapers and magazines, to play British games and socialise away from the indigenous crowd. The club of Limassol was frequented by many military officials from the nearby camp of Polemidia. It was not a particularly impressive building but served its purpose.
