We are delighted to share that CVAR's story and accompanying project proposal, is one of the eleven stories selected to receive a grant award by the European Commission and European Council, as part of the European Heritage Days Stories initiative. We are very excited to have the opportunity to work on this project and look forward to sharing it with our local and international community very soon.
In the meantime, you can read our full story as well as a short description of our project, 'Culture Connects: Nicosia', here:
The European Heritage Days Stories initiative brings people together to celebrate, share and support the work being undertaken by communities in Europe. The aim is to encourage people to engage with Europe’s cultural heritage and to share insights into how the European dimension of local heritage is understood throughout Europe, thus reinforcing a sense of belonging to the European common space.
We thank the European Heritage Days for this initiative and for supporting our vision and work.
