CVAR & ACT Theatre Group present a play for voices: “Monuments & Memories: Government House”
Volunteers from the ACT theatre group will be presenting the history of Government House, today’s Presidential Palace. Ten actors will read texts from the diaries, books and notes of people who visited Government House/Presidential Palace from 1878 to today. Through these stories comes alive the history of the building and the history of the island - with anecdotes, regrettable events, hilarious incidents and much emotion.
