The Cypriot artist E. Georgiou, [probably Eleni Georghiou sister of Pol Georghiou, according to the descendants] depicts the church of Stavrovouni on top of the hill and the church of Ayia Varvara at the foothills. Although nothing is known about this artist, her use of colour is amazing, especially the soft shade of blue in the sky.
