I made another excursion into the Evdimu Nahieh sleeping as usual at the Mudir’s house. And the next day visited Prassiu, Platanissia and Electora riding through a fine country with charming views seaward. We put up for the night at Pissouri and had a long discussion with the native magnates on the subject of theft in general, but like all Cypriots they were free enough to complain, but not to assist the police in the apprehension of offenders.
