Perfectly marvellous day - best almost since we‘ve been here. Cassels laid on picnic at Buffavento. They came by here at eleven o’clock and we arrived at place where you leave car about twelve. Short trip. Then climb starts – about half an hour climb. It is steep and it was hotter’n hell. Views glorious- stopped on occasion to rest and view the panorama below us…
