La Domenica del Corriere or Sunday Courier was the illustrated supplement to the Italian newspaper "Corriere della Sera" or Evening Courier. This edition's frontpage is a colour illustration of a violent torpedo attack off the coast of Cyprus in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea during WWII.The text reads "Powerful attack of our torpedo bombers from Cyprus in the eastern Mediterranean. A 7000 ton English auxiliary cruiser hit directly by two torpedoes fire between thunderous detonations." The artist's signature appears in the lower right hand corner of the illustration, but it is illegible.
