Right now, it’s the Turks that are mad at the Governor and several groups have formed in town shouting, «Down With Foot», and «Go Home Foot!» They say now that he is pro-Greek, in spite of his pleadings that he is trying to clear the way for a peaceful solution to it all. Many say now that he started off with much good-will, but that such gestures are not enough, and the Greeks feel that he came back from London with nothing but orders to stall for more time.
