Children are welcome to spend Saturdays with us to look, listen, learn and explore the Museum. Each time, we introduce a new subject, historic personalities and periods through creative and playful activities.

 Open call for university students to rephotograph

The Centre of Visual Arts and Research announces an open call for university students to participate in a bicommunal photographic exhibition. CVAR aquired the Camille Enlart photographic collection in 2017.

Children are welcome to spend Saturday afternoons with us to look, listen, learn and explore the Museum. Each time, we introduce a new subject, historic personalities and periods through creative and playful activities.

Do you know the name of the hat the Cypriots wore in the 19th century or which was the favourite piece of jewellery of the last queen of Cyprus? You will discover these and many more in CVAR with the educational booklet “Exploring the museum with my family!” with questions to answer and fun tasks to complete.

The CVAR travels with the museum educational kit “Travelling Artists in Cyprus: 19th-20th century”. By designing this educational kit, the Museum now travels and creates bonds between the school and the museum. The outcome of the museum educational kit would not be possible without the...
