On 1 November 2023, Mr Robert S. Merrillees, a former Australian diplomat and archaeologist, gave a most interesting lecture titled An Ottoman souvenir from Cyprus: The coral seal pendant of John Houseman Hutchinson (1822-1902).
This year we are happy to share the publication of his lecture ''A glyptic coral souvenir of John Houseman Hutchinson, long neglected engineer and builder in the Ottoman Empire and British Cyprus'', which was made possible with the support of the Active Citizens Fund.
